GTHOG Winter Bowling Party, 2001

Instead of holding a Christmas party in November or December, GTHOG decided to hold its winter event in January when, hopefully, everyone's social calendar would be less busy.

Scott F suggested and (even better) offered to organize a bowling night including a buffet!

The date was picked months in advance: Sunday, January 28, 2001 at 6:00pm.

This turned out to be the date & time of the Super Bowl--not exactly a less busy day on many member's social calendar.

Nevertheless, 14 members come out for a couple of rounds of bowling (and even more rounds at the buffet!).

This event proved that most GTHOG members are much more skilled at negotiating a 700 lb Harley down the lanes of a highway than at negotiating a 5 lb ball down the lanes of a bowlerama.
